Hello

Hi, I’m Henry and a I’ve decided to start this blog because I’ve found that since March of 2020 I’ve had a lot on my mind (not to suggest that I had nothing on my mind before then, of course). Instead of burdening my wife and the three cats with my musings, I thought I’d share them with the world at large. My first post is on the problems I see with the way the UK government treats asylum seekers. For me, the coronavirus pandemic has laid bare many of the inequalities in British society for anyone who cares to look hard enough to see.

My next post will be on the different ways in which language has been deployed upon us all by those in authority during the pandemic.
